  11. Hi June,                                                    
  12. I couldn't get back to you yesterday because I kept getting 
  13. bumped off. Here's the Swedish Applecake recipe:            
  14.              SWEDISH APPLECAKE                              
  15. 1/4 lb. butter                                              
  16. 3 C bread crumbs                                            
  17. 3 T sugar                                                   
  18. 2 tsp cinnamon                                              
  19. 2 C applesauce                                              
  20. 2 T butter                                                  
  21.                                                             
  22. Melt 1/4 C of butter in a pan. Add the bread crumbs, sugar, 
  23. and the cinnamon and stir till well mixed and golden brown. 
  24. Place 1/3 of the bread crumb mixture in a well-greased deep 
  25. dish pie pan.   Cover this with 1 C of applesauce. Continue 
  26. to layer with another 1/3 of the bread crumbs and another   
  27. cup of applesauce.                                          
  28. Put the rest of the bread crumbs on top and dot with 2 T of 
  29. butter.                                                     
  30. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.  Serve at room temperature.     
  31. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
